Gratiot Cruise has strong turnout

Up until the time light showers turned into a persistent rainfall late Sunday afternoon, Thomas Karpinski was reluctant to leave his lawn chair near the Alibi Inn bar on Gratiot Avenue where he taking in the Gratiot Cruise.
“Aw, man, I’ve got to pack it up and head home,” the Hamtramck resident said. “It’s been a good day, though.”
